Sunflowers on Blue Linen

This linen tablecloth and napkins were bought at the open market in Arles, France. They make a perfect setting for sunflowers since this is where Van Gogh lived and painted so many, many sunflowers. He spent 15 months there as a daily painter. Van Gogh's time in Arles is said to be his brightest and most fruitful period with some of his best paintings completed there.
