9 for $1 ... Auction Planning?

ART.  I really went CRAZY this time and listed nine eBay auctions with a low start bid of $1 each, no reserve price.  So if you bid $1 and no more bids come in, you get one of my small daily paintings for $1.  To view the auctions, click on the image below.

I'm hoping some of you out there might help get the bid started on some of these small original paintings. After all, I'm an old broad, and you might find yourself holding a valuable piece of fine art one day. :) These 9 are mostly wash and line or watercolor pencil with ink. One or two of them are oil paintings: the farm dog and the sunflower still life painting. Then there is one with Border Collie Brooke who was the official "Prevent Heartworms" poster dog for T-bar True Blue Animal Rescue a few years ago. By the way, Brooke is growing old with me and she is still heartworm free according to the blood tests taken at her last vet appointment.

Oh, by the way, 50% of the auction profits will be donated to an Art Helping Animals approved animal rescue organization.

LIFE.  Oh me, oh my ... I do the planning, and then I don't follow the plan. It is so easy to get side-tracked with the myriad
of influences coming from all sides, especially the information overload via the internet. The focus of Proverbs has so far been on wisdom, understanding, planning and insight. Easier said than done. And why is it that on some days the glass is more than half full, on others less than half full, and for some people ... empty? No matter how much planning one does, natural disasters such as the earthquake recently experienced in Haiti are uncontrollable by man. We plan, and we live our plan until the third law of thermodynamics, Entropy, reverts matter back into chaos. You can check Wikipedia for a reference to Entropy, but I found this other link of interest and easier to read.  http://www.skidmore.edu/academics/lsi/arcadia/order.html

Still, in our day to day lives, planning is good. It brings us focus and direction in life ... while we have life.
My child, don't lose sight of good planning and insight. Hang on to them, for they fill you with life and bring you honor and respect. They keep you safe on your way and keep your feet from stumbling. You can lie down without fear and enjoy pleasant dreams. You need not be afraid of disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.
--Proverbs 3:21-26

Today's Blessing:  It's a New Day with new adventures! Now to identify them.
