Bridges, Transitions, Changes, and a New Look to TXsauce Blog

Old Bridge over the Colorado River at LaGrange, Texas

Life is like the weather in Texas. Nothing ever stays the same for long. Every day is filled with new adventures, and as Bilbo Baggins said in The Hobbit, "Adventures are not all pony rides in May sunshine." —Vernita Bridges Hoyt

Transitions ... So I decided to change the blog layout. You will see more, but as life goes I had to make some choices. The header banner image had to go. The sidebar widgets were lost. The list of links are no more. If we decide we don't like the new "dynamic" layout, I will rebuild the old one.  I have added my website links to the signature line below to get you to my portfolio and available paintings. The Etsy shop is now a signature link instead of a mini-shop in the sidebar. The best thing about the new layout is that more past posts and images are visible. You also have the option of clicking on the top left menu button to change the layout to suit you. Try it on for size and see which view you like the best. I would love to hear from you.

UPDATE, July 12: Blog layout was changed back to traditional newsletter format. People say this format is cleaner and easier to read.
