Year in Review: March

March brought signs of Spring and another Cardinal painting ...

and I revisited the baby doll to repaint the background flowers as sunflowers ...

I have since gold-leafed a frame for the doll painting which you can see in the right hand corner of the gallery below.

Another cat study in a different style below--acrylic paint on unstretched canvas ...

as compared to a more detailed version of the same Maine Coon cat (2 views) painted in watercolor and pastel.

Today's Blessing: Today we had snow in Houston--enough to stick and leave a white powdery covering on rooftops, plants and cars. We haven't had snow on December 10 since 1944. It was magical watching the flakes fall.

Price Reduced "Cattitude" print

I have one fine art print available and have reduced the starting bid from $45 to $29.50 on the Maine Coon Cats "Cattitude" ...  This auction will end in just a few more hours.

Cattitude, Maine Coon Cat fine art print

Cattitude ... sounds like a green-eyed woman with attitude, but in this case the one with attitude is a male Maine Coon Cat who rules the roost. I am reserving the original painting in my private collection but decided to offer fine art prints of this painting. The details and a larger image will be found on the eBay listing for Cattitude. It is printed on Somerset Velvet Fine Art paper. I feel sure you will be completely satisfied with the quality of this piece. I offer a 7-day, no questions asked, return policy if for any reason you are not 100% satisfied.
