A Trail Ride is in Progress

Slow down and enjoy life. It's not only the scenery you miss by going too fast, you also miss the sense of where you are going and why. —Eddie Cantor

My daughter always loved horses. She drew them at school. She wanted to take horseback riding lessons as a child, but she never got to take the lessons until she was grown and out on her own. Since then, she has always had a horse or two. This painting was inspired by her tales of Texas trail rides.

  1. Jimmie, thanks so very much. Although challenging, this painting was a joy to paint. I guess I love the challenge, and now I want to do another.
