This is a fine art giclee print on professional grade paper, printed by a professional print house. Print size is 9x12 inches, so the matted and framed painting will be larger. Very nice! Get your bids in at the Grapeland Peanut Festival to benefit the historic First Christian Church.

The First Christian Church was organized around 1872 in the Old Red House community, about three miles east of Grapeland.  The congregation moved to Grapeland in 1882 and in 1895 a house of worship was erected.  In 1915 the church building was moved to its present location, where some 75 years later the congregation disbanded, donating the church to the community.

The First Christian Church building, a state historical site, is now used as a community building, and is available for special occasions and community related events.

The First Christian Church Memorial, Inc. is a non-profit organization.  Funding for the maintenance of the building and grounds is acquired through gifts, donations, membership dues, memorials, and/or building rental.
